Blog Posts let your team create long-form content in Remark and publish it to your storefront. Posts can start from a blank editor or from AI-assisted generation that uses your brand context, product catalog, knowledge base, and selected expert author.
Blog Posts currently require an active Shopify integration with the permissions Remark needs to manage content and theme assets. If the page is unavailable, contact your Remark team or support@remark.ai.

Where to find Blog Posts

Open Blog Posts in the Dashboard to view and manage posts. From the list, you can:
  • Search posts by title
  • Filter posts by product or expert author
  • Sort posts by most recent or least recent edit
  • View scheduled posts
  • Create a new post
  • Edit, preview, publish, unpublish, or delete a post
Post rows show one of these statuses:

Create a post

Select New post to start. You can create a post in two ways:

Use AI generation

  1. Select New post.
  2. Enter a title, or choose one of the suggested topics.
  3. Optionally regenerate suggestions for Top List, Feature, Comparison, or Article formats.
  4. Select Next.
  5. Choose an expert author. Remark suggests an author based on the topic.
  6. Add products to feature in the post, if relevant.
  7. Reorder the selected products if their order matters.
  8. Select Generate Post.
The selected format changes how products are used during generation: The generation screen shows progress while Remark researches, selects product context, writes, and edits the draft. When generation finishes, the editor opens with the new draft.
AI generation requires at least one approved expert with AI impersonation enabled. If no eligible expert exists, add or update an expert before generating the post.

Start from scratch

Use Start from scratch when you do not want AI to generate the initial draft. Remark creates a blank post and opens the editor. The editor autosaves your changes as a draft.

Edit a post

Open a post from the list to edit it. The editor supports:
  • Title and body text
  • Paragraphs, headings, subheadings, quotes, bulleted lists, numbered lists, tables, and two-column sections
  • Images
  • YouTube and Vimeo embeds
  • Product blocks
  • Pros and cons blocks
  • Links and basic text formatting
  • AI editing tools for selected text, such as improving writing, fixing spelling and grammar, shortening, lengthening, simplifying, or using custom instructions
Changes are autosaved. Recent edits update the current working version; older edits, edits to published versions, and edits to scheduled versions create a new version so the published or scheduled snapshot is preserved.

Versions

Each blog post can have multiple versions. Open the sidebar in the editor to view version history. You can inspect previous versions and restore one. Restoring a version creates a new latest version with that content.

Preview a post

Select Preview in the editor to see the rendered post before publishing. The preview uses the post content, selected products, expert author, brand theme, inline activator settings, and Blog Posts custom CSS. The preview also includes a Customize appearance link to Settings > Blog posts settings.
Share buttons and live links are only fully usable on the published storefront page. In preview, interactive storefront-only behavior may be disabled.

Publish or schedule a post

Select Publish in the editor. You can:
  • Publish immediately
  • Schedule the latest version for a future date and time
  • Reschedule a scheduled post
  • Cancel a scheduled publish
  • Publish changes to an already published post
  • Unpublish a live post
When you publish, Remark renders the latest version and creates or updates a Shopify page. After publishing succeeds, the post has a live storefront URL. If you publish a scheduled post immediately, Remark cancels the previous schedule and publishes the latest version now.

Customize appearance

Open Settings > Blog posts settings to add custom CSS for rendered blog posts. Custom CSS applies to Blog Posts previews and published posts. Use it for post-specific styling that is not covered by your general brand theme. Before saving custom CSS, preview at least one draft and one published-style post if possible. Blog posts can include text, product blocks, images, videos, tables, share controls, and inline activators.

Troubleshooting

Blog Posts is missing or disabled

Confirm the workspace has Blog Posts enabled, the user has permission to edit SEO or blog content, and the brand has an active Shopify integration. Blog Posts currently require Shopify content and theme permissions.

I cannot generate a post

Confirm the brand has at least one approved expert with AI impersonation enabled. AI generation also depends on the product catalog and knowledge base, so sparse source data can lead to weaker drafts.

Generation failed

Use Retry from the generation error screen. Retry uses the same topic, article type, selected products, and expert author from the failed generation attempt.

My post is not live

Check the publish menu in the editor:
  • Not published means the post is still a draft.
  • Scheduled means the latest version is queued for the shown date and time.
  • Published means a version is live; use View live or the external-link action from the post list.
If publishing failed, check that the Shopify integration is connected and still has the required content permissions.

I edited a published post but the live page did not change

Edits are saved as a draft version. Select Publish > Publish Changes to push the latest saved version to the storefront.

I edited a scheduled post

Editing a scheduled version creates a new latest draft. Publish or schedule again when the new draft is ready.

The live page styling looks wrong

Open Settings > Blog posts settings and review custom CSS. Also confirm the Shopify theme template is present and the integration has theme permissions.
  • Use Chat Widget Settings to manage inline activators and brand appearance used in previews.
  • Use Experts to manage the experts that can author AI-generated posts.
  • Use Klaviyo to understand the remark_blog_post_viewed event.
